REMPARK was a European project to create a personal health device for people with Parkinson’s disease. The system can help users in their daily lives by assisting them in medication intake, agenda, quickly making and emergency call or by visualising Parkinson’s symptoms throughout the day. I and the HCI team at Fraunhofer Portugal AICOS were responsible for designing the smartphone user interfaces. These were designed in co-creation with people with Parkinson’s, formal caregivers and informal caregivers, and continuously tested to guarantee usability.
