CordonGris was a EU project which I designed and coordinated while working at Fraunhofer AICOS. The project brought together six partners from three countries to design new technologies and services to tackle malnutrition amongst seniors. It does it through an intelligent recommendation system which conciliates user needs, culture and preferences, providers’ stocks and discounts, as well as a limited budget.
In this way, the project was intended to build tools for seniors and caregivers for the management of food, reduction of food waste and adoption of healthy eating habits.
